PARENT VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
The South Riding Swim Team is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose is to provide safe, challenging, and instructive swimming for its members in both competitive and developmental environments. As such, with the exception of paid coaches, the swim team is staffed and operated by volunteers. The volunteer activities are organized under various committees so that team resources can be utilized in a more efficient manner. The committees report to the Swim Team Board and operate under the Swim Team Guidelines. Every parent of a swim team member is required to volunteer their time to one or more of these team committees. Volunteers working for Swim Meet Operations will be required to be at the meets ½ - 1 hour before the meet begins. To support the committee functions, please contact the chairperson.
